Job summary

Salt Medics is seeking a Mental Health RN for AOD inpatient duties at Byron Central Hospital, near Ewingsdale. Casual shifts with NSW Casual Award rates plus an 8% loading are available. Travel and accommodation are provided, with a Salt Regional Deployment Allowance of $310–$435 per week (tax-free) depending on shifts and RN seniority.

Immediate start available to January 2027, and applicants must be registered with AHPRA with working rights for Australia.

• Recent mental health and AOD nursing experience required.
• Registered with AHPRA and eligible to work in Australia.
• Must have Australian working rights.

Mental Health RN | AOD Inpatient

• NSW Casual Award rates apply + additional 8% loading from NSW Health for agency nurse
• SALT Regional Deployment Allowance: $310 to $435 per week, tax-free (based on shifts worked and RN seniority)

• Must have recent Mental health and AODnursing experience
• Current competency in Violence Prevention and Management (VPM) is desirable
• Travel and accommodation provided
