Job summary

SA Health's Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) invites experienced mental health nurses to join the team. You will deliver expert mental health care, perform case management, and lead clinical activities within a multidisciplinary setting.

This permanent role offers opportunities to support recovery-focused care, contribute to trauma-informed and culturally safe practices, and collaborate across CALHN sites to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Hold current Nursing and Midwifery Board registration.
• Hold a Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Nursing or equivalent.
• Bring strong experience caring for complex mental health needs.
• Demonstrate leadership, supervision and team coordination skills.
• Apply sound judgement, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive mental health nursing care and case management.
• Guide and support nursing staff to build clinical capability.
• Provide education, counselling and therapeutic group work.
• Assess and respond to complex needs and clinical deterioration.
• Collaborate with health professionals and community services.
