Job summary

Xpress Health Agency is currently seeking compassionate and experienced Mental Health Registered Nurses (RNs) to support healthcare facilities across Sydney Metro and surrounding areas in New South Wales (NSW).

About the Role

You will be providing high-quality, recovery-focused nursing care within mental health settings, supporting individuals experiencing acute or ongoing mental health conditions.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Conducting mental health assessments and risk assessments
• Developing and implementing care plans
• Administering medications and monitoring patient responses
• Supporting patients with emotional and behavioural needs
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
• Providing compassionate and patient-centred care in accordance with best practice standards

What We Are Looking For

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Previous Mental Health nursing experience
• Mental Health qualification or demonstrated experience in mental health settings (preferred)
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Up-to-date National Police CheckWorking rights in Australia and must be living in Australia
• Strong communication and de-escalation skills
• Compassionate, professional, and reliable attitude
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
