Job summary

Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) is seeking a Registered Nurse/Clinical Nurse for the Mental Health Emergency Department at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Adelaide. The role focuses on delivering recovery‑oriented, trauma‑informed care and coordinating care across the patient pathway.

At RN/M2C level, you will mentor staff, lead clinical improvement, and support consumers and carers within a seven‑day roster.

Qualifications

• Hold NMBA nurse registration and a practising certificate.
• Hold a mental health qualification equivalent to a Grad Dip.
• Bring mental health assessment and therapeutic care skills.
• Partner with consumers, carers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Bring leadership and supervision experience for RN/M2C.

Responsibilities

• Assess mental health needs and plan individual care.
• Deliver therapeutic care and monitor consumer progress.
• Coordinate referrals and liaise with community services.
• Guide staff and support clinical improvement at RN/M2C level.
