A leading healthcare provider in New South Wales seeks a Mental Health Clinician for its Core Eating Disorders CAMHS team. This role involves evaluating and planning specialized care for children and adolescents facing mental health challenges, particularly eating disorders. As a member of the Core Eating Disorders CAMHS multi-disciplinary team the post holder will:
Provide a clinical perspective within the multi-disciplinary team and to referring agencies and external professionals, being able to provide clinical consultation and liaison when appropriate.
Provide a child and adolescent mental health service specialising in the care and treatment of children and young people with a range of complex mental health problems and disorders in particular working with young people with eating disorders.
Take a lead role in the assessment, planning, delivering and evaluating the provision of specialist child mental health therapeutic and psychological interventions within individual, groups and families requiring specialist CAMHS interventions.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
