• Ensure safe and effective use of medicines at ward, team and dispensary level.
• Provide clinical pharmacy input as part of the multidisciplinary team (MDT).
• Advise clinicians on medicines, including unlicensed uses and evidence gaps.
• Deliver medicines-related training to clinical staff.
• Supervise trainees and junior pharmacists; progress to independent prescribing.
• Participate in pharmacy on-call service and Saturday service.
• Support discharge planning with community team pharmacists.
