Fitness First in Australia seeks a Membership Manager to lead a dynamic Member Support Consultant team, driving sales targets and exceptional member experiences. You will coach, mentor and motivate the team to excel in acquisition and retention, while delivering outstanding front-desk service and a high-energy club atmosphere.

You will lead from the front, building a high-performing team, setting clear direction, and turning conversations into memberships and lasting fitness journeys.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in sales and customer service with KPI achievement.
• Strong understanding of sales cycles and customer retention strategies.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or motivating a team to meet targets.
• Confident with business systems and reporting tools.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification (WWCC may be required by state).

The Opportunity

As a Membership Manager at Fitness First , you’ll lead a high-energy team of Member Support Consultants , creating the momentum that drives club growth and unforgettable member experiences.

This is a role that blends people leadership with performance. You’ll coach, mentor, and motivate your team to hit sales and retention targets while setting the tone for an exceptional member experience from the moment someone walks through the doors.

You’ll lead from the front, welcoming new members into the club, supporting existing members on their journey, and creating an environment where people feel energised, supported and excited to return.

Through strong leadership, clear direction and a passion for helping people succeed, you’ll build a confident, high-performing team that turns conversations into memberships and first visits into long-term fitness journeys.

Because when the right team creates the right energy, more people find the motivation to put their fitness first.

Key Responsibilities
