Medical Indemnity Protection Society (MIPS) in Sydney is seeking an entry-level Relationship & Development Specialist to build long-term member relationships and drive engagement. You will connect with healthcare professionals, understand their needs and contribute to member value, supported by an experienced leadership team.

The role emphasizes genuine connections over hard sales, with hybrid working options and opportunities to grow within a not-for-profit organisation protecting healthcare

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing or relationship-based roles in professional services, healthcare or insurance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build trust.
• Proactive, curious, and eager to learn and develop.
• Able to travel across Sydney and work independently with team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective MIPS members.
• Meet with healthcare professionals to understand needs and provide a positive, member-first experience.
• Support membership growth through meaningful engagement and proactive follow-up.
• Conduct member visits, meetings and follow-ups to strengthen engagement and long-term relationships.
• Represent MIPS at professional development events, delivering short presentations and networking with stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to increase member value and strengthen engagement.
• Partner with internal teams to deliver a seamless and positive member experience.
• Maintain accurate records and capture member feedback and activity in CRM.
