Job summary

Swinburne University of Technology invites applications for a Magnetoencephalography (MEG) Technician to join Swinburne Neuroimaging within the School of Health Sciences. This full-time fixed-term role supports MEG operations, infrastructure, and related neuroimaging modalities at our Hawthorn campus.

You will assist researchers with experiments, manage records, and help train users and maintain equipment. The role also covers safety, inventory and broader technical support across EEG and TMS

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in science, neuroscience, psychology, engineering or related field and/or equivalent work experience.
• First aid qualifications and training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operation of the MEG laboratory and maintain laboratory records.
• Assist researchers with experiments and training, inductions and tours.
• Provide broader technical support across EEG and TMS laboratories and other modalities.
