Job summary

Ipsen is seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Australia to provide high level scientific expertise to external healthcare professionals and internal teams. The MSL will drive scientific leadership, respond to clinical inquiries, and deliver presentations across Ipsen’s portfolio and therapeutic areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Bio-Medical Science or Science is required.
• Proven MSL experience; oncology preferred.
• Knowledge of TGA, PBS, Medicines Australia Code.
• Ability to critically appraise clinical evidence and synthesize data.
• Ability to collaborate and contribute to strategic plans.
• Ability to conduct clear, concise scientific discussions at high level.
• Comfortable in a commercially focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Foster medical and scientific exchange with thought leaders on topics of mutual interest.
• Respond to unsolicited clinical information requests from external stakeholders via various channels.
• Deliver presentations on scientific, clinical and technical aspects of Ipsen products and therapeutic areas.
• Support external National and Regional events and advisory panels.
• Maintain a medical database of HCPs and TLs (CRM: Veeva) and provide scientific support as needed.
• Attend scientific congresses to interact with HCPs and develop knowledge in therapy areas.
• Lead in-field insight generation and share best practices within the team.
• Provide scientific material to investigators and support internal medical review.
