Job summary

SA Health, Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) Medical Records Officer, is seeking a temporary full-time Records Officer to support the Royal Adelaide Hospital and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. 37.5 hours per week with a five-day roster; contract from November 2026 to October 2027; salary ASO2 $66,442 to $69,504 p.a.

+ superannuation + salary packaging. The role focuses on scanning, checking, and managing medical records to support accurate, timely, and confidential patient

Qualifications

• Experience with records systems and admin procedures.
• Microsoft Office literacy with strong numeracy and writing skills.
• Prioritise tasks and meet deadlines with accuracy.
• Clear communication and patient confidentiality.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Scan paper forms into the Electronic Medical Record
• Check document quality, accuracy and completeness
• Retrieve and prepare paper files for patient care
• Audit records and respond to information requests
• Coordinate daily tasks with clinical and records teams
