Job summary

Healthcarelink Support in Cairns, Queensland, is seeking a General Practitioner to join a modern, multidisciplinary practice. The role offers clinical autonomy within a team-based setting and nursing support to maximise patient care.

Practice operates Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm with weekends/public holidays closed. The ideal candidate holds MBBS or equivalent, with active AHPRA General/Specialist registration and FRACGP qualification.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent.
• Must have a current and valid AHPRA GENERAL /SPECIALIST registration.
• FRACGP qualified.
• A strong passion for delivering high-quality care is also a must. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to develop comprehensive treatment plans and educate patients.

Based in Cairns City, our client is fully Accredited by AGPAL and has been dedicated to looking after patients’ well-being since 2005. They offer a team-based approach, in a modern, integrated multidisciplinary patient-centred setting. They provide a range of high-quality services from one convenient location with plenty of car parking and improved outcomes by improving communication between doctors, allied health care service providers, pathology, radiology, dentists, and specialists.

With clinical autonomy and independence within a multidisciplinary team. They always have adequate nursing support the centre is operating, and you will have more time and energy for great patient care at this well established mixed billing practice. The practice operates from Mon - Fri between 8am - 5pm and is closed on the weekends and public holidays.
