Job summary

DXC Medical Recruitment is looking for Medical Practitioners to join flexible casual/part-time shifts in Canberra. Ideal candidates are GP in Training with AHPRA general registration or on a 3GA path, seeking study-friendly hours, including weekdays and weekends.

Shifts run from 5:30pm to 9:00pm, 9:00am to 1:00pm, or 8:30am to 4:00pm, with up to 4 days a week and 12 shifts weekly during business hours across several locations. The role supports training and delivers primary healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide culturally appropriate and comprehensive primary healthcare.
• Deliver GP services within scheduled shifts across Canberra locations.
• Collaborate with hospital teams during after-hours and weekend shifts.
• Support trainees and ensure compliance with AHPRA/general registration requirements.

The Opportunity

• $120 - $140 hourly
• Available from September through to December
• Up to 4 days a week | weekend hours available
• Available shifts, 5.30pm - 9.00pm | 9.00am - 1.00pm | 8.30am - 4.00pm
• 12 shifts available per week during business hours
• Work across various locations
• Medical imaging setting and after-hours hospital work
• Time allowed to study during clinical hours
• Provide culturally appropriate and comprehensive primary healthcare
