Job summary

NSW Health is seeking an ACPSEM-certified Medical Physicist to join the Radiation Oncology Department at Campbelltown Hospital on a temporary part-time basis. The role will support the Macarthur Cancer Therapy Centre (MCTC) with opportunities to contribute to commissioning and clinical implementation of forthcoming systems and to be involved in service development and applied research.

The successful candidate will travel to Liverpool Cancer Therapy Centre as needed, working within a progressive

Qualifications

• ACPSEM-certified/accredited Medical Physicist is required per ACPSEM.
• Significant experience in radiation oncology physics.
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to prioritise competing service requirements.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Support Macarthur Cancer Therapy Centre (MCTC) at Campbelltown Hospital.
• Occasional travel to Liverpool Cancer Therapy Centre (LCTC) for service requirements, education and training.
• Contribute to commissioning and clinical implementation of new radiotherapy systems.
• Engage in technology implementation, service development and applied research.
