Step into a career that offers more than a job. As a Medical Officer with Private Practice in Inglewood, you’ll enjoy genuine connection with your community, broad and rewarding clinical practice, and the chance to make a visible impact every day. Build lasting relationships, grow your skills, and enjoy a rural lifestyle where your contribution is valued and your work truly matters.
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $303,275 comprising salary rates between $193,191 (L13) and $205,244 p.a. You’ll be part of a community where your work is genuinely valued and your impact is felt every day. You’ll enjoy the variety and professional fulfilment that comes with broad clinical practice while building trusted relationships and contributing to healthier futures for local people.
You’re a doctor who values people as much as clinical excellence. Compassion shapes the way you care, integrity guides your decisions, and dignity underpins every interaction. You enjoy variety, embrace innovation, and bring the courage to step forward when challenges arise. Most of all, you’re motivated by the opportunity to become a trusted part of a community and make a real difference in people’s lives.
You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have advanced rural generalist skills, additional training in areas such as emergency medicine or mental health, and/or experience working in rural or regional communities.

No matter where you live in our region, from Taroom in the north to Texas in the south, our purpose is to ensure accessible and sustainable care. It’s complex, challenging work that makes a real difference – and the career possibilities are endless.
Whether you’re a doctor, nurse, allied health professional, facilities team member, or administrator, you’ll see your impact firsthand.
