Job summary

Queensland Health in Moura is seeking a Medical Officer Private Practice (Specialist General Practice) to expand rural medical care across general practice, emergency, and inpatient settings. Moura is a welcoming rural community in Central Queensland's Dawson Valley, approximately 180km from Rockhampton and 65km from Biloela.

Moura Multipurpose Health Service is a modern, purpose-built facility providing emergency, acute, aged care and outpatient services. With an expansion to eight residential aged care beds underway, it's an exciting time to join a growing rural health service.

About the role:

You'll work alongside the Medical Superintendent to deliver general practice, inpatient, outpatient and emergency care, while participating in the 24-hour emergency coverage roster.
