Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service in Moura, QLD, is seeking a Medical Officer Private Practice (Specialist General Practice) to provide general, inpatient, outpatient and emergency care in a rural setting.

The role offers diverse clinical work with professional development and potential private practice earnings, plus a total remuneration package up to $429,389 p.a., accommodation, relocation support, and visa sponsorship options.

Qualifications

• Medical qualifications eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
• Enrolment or acceptance into an eligible Specialist General Practice training program.
• Current ALS and APLS certification.
• Confidence across general practice and acute care, with an interest in rural and emergency medicine.
• Collaborative approach to working with patients, colleagues and the community.
• Doctors pursuing rural generalist or GP fellowship pathways are encouraged to consider this opportunity.

Responsabilités

• Deliver general practice, inpatient, outpatient and emergency care.
• Participate in the 24-hour emergency coverage roster.
• Work alongside the Medical Superintendent and clinical teams.
• Maintain and develop rural/generalist and emergency medicine skills.

You'll work alongside the Medical Superintendent to deliver general practice, inpatient, outpatient and emergency care, while participating in the 24-hour emergency coverage roster.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $429,389 p.a. is comprised of:

• A salary rate between $193,191 – $205,244 p.a.
• A salary rate between $223,136 – $259,187 p.a.
• A salary rate between $266,839 – $282,912 p.a.
• 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
