Job summary

Collinsville is seeking a Medical Officer OR Rural Generalist Medical Officer with Private Practice (MORPP) to join a full-time rural team in Mackay region. The position includes work in ED and general wards and allows private practice opportunities as part of a balanced rural career.

The successful candidate should have FACRRM or FRACGP – RG or equivalent pathway, 3+ years of postgraduate experience, and rural experience preferred. MBA registration standards apply.

Qualifications

The team at Collinsville is seeking a Medical Officer OR Rural Generalist Medical Officer with Private Practice (MORPP). Permanent Full-Time | 80 Hours per fortnight. Part-time opportunities may be considered to support work-life balance.

The successful candidate will have:

• FACRRM or FRACGP – RG or comparability through Competent Authority Pathway from the UK, Ireland, NZ, USA or Canada
• at least 3 years’ post graduate experience, with highly developed clinical skills
• documented experience of having worked in a rural environment is preferable
• rural generalist skills as this role also entails work in the hospital’s ED and general medical wards

The applicant must demonstrate recent clinical practice relevant to the scope of this role, consistent with the MBA’s registration standards.
