Job summary

I-MED Radiology Network in Sydney is seeking a Medical Imaging Assistant to support our clinical team across X-ray, CT, and MRI workflows. You will help prepare patients, ensure comfort during scans, and assist Radiographers and Radiologists in daily operations.

We welcome current radiography students looking to gain hands-on experience in a leading diagnostic imaging network with opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications

• Current Radiography students seeking valuable clinical experience.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a team.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
• Previous healthcare or customer service experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist Radiographers with X-ray, CT, MRI and other imaging examinations, while providing high-quality patient care.

The role is available on a part-time or casual basis, reporting to the Chief Radiographer, with shifts available Monday to Friday between 8am–5pm, with the potential for Saturday shifts.

Role Overview

As a Medical Imaging Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting our clinical team and ensuring patients receive exceptional care throughout their imaging journey.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Assisting Radiographers with X-ray, CT, MRI and other imaging examinations, while providing high-quality patient care.
• Preparing patients for their examinations and ensuring their comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Supporting Radiologists and technical staff with procedures and day-to-day clinic operations.
• Collaborating with clerical staff, Radiographers and Radiologists to deliver a seamless patient experience.
