Job summary

The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in Victoria's Gippsland region invites applications for a Medical Educator. This permanent, part‑time role (0.2–0.3 FTE) delivers registrar training, supports supervisors and shapes GP education across Australia.

You will mentor registrars, assist with accreditation needs, and collaborate with local teams and Indigenous partners to ensure culturally safe training and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• RACGP fellowship or equivalent with current specialist GP registration.
• Strong interest in medical education and registrar development.
• Experience teaching or facilitating doctors in training.
• Collaborative approach with supervisors and local stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical teaching, mentoring and pastoral support to registrars across the training lifecycle.
• Support and develop supervisors through advice and professional development activities.
• Contribute to workforce planning and AGPT promotion activities.
• Collaborate with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander partners for culturally safe training.
