Job summary

Salud Family Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. You will welcome patients, determine visit type, and obtain vitals before the Doctor, NP, or PA sees them.

We require a current Medical Assistant Certificate, a high school diploma or equivalent, and completion of a formal MA training program. Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred; healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a Current Medical Assistant Certificate.
• Education includes High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
• All Medical Assistants must be certified/registered within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients ensuring a warm, respectful environment.
• Determine visit type and obtain vitals prior to provider encounter.
• Maintain clear, concise chart documentation and organized workspace.
