Due to an internal promotion within the team, we’re now looking for a passionate Medical Administration Officer to help deliver exceptional care in a role that’s both professionally fulfilling and personally rewarding.

Your administrative expertise will directly support patients through one of the most important journeys of their lives.

This is more than just an admin job – it is a chance to be a trusted guide for patients navigating cancer treatment. From scheduling appointments to managing referrals and billing, you’ll be a key part of a compassionate team that ensures every patient feels supported, informed, and cared for, and the centre runs smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing :
  • Be the welcoming face of our centre, greeting patients and families with warmth and professionalism
  • Coordinate vital treatment appointments and manage referrals
  • Provide empathetic support to patient queries, both in person and over the phone
  • Ensure accurate billing and handle daily financial transactions
  • Maintain up-to-date patient records and track progress throughout treatment
  • Use your knowledge of medical terminology and claims processes (Medicare, Private Health Insurance, DVA) to streamline care
Who We’re Looking For :

You’re a detail-oriented, compassionate individual who thrives in a fast-paced medical environment. You bring strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a genuine commitment to patient care.

Your Experience Includes :
  • Previous experience in hospital, medical practice, or day procedure reception
  • Familiarity with electronic practice management systems (Gentu and / or Genie highly desirable)
  • Strong understanding of medical reception and inpatient services
  • Ability to manage time independently and work collaboratively
  • Proficiency in Windows-based programs (Email, Word)
  • Basic knowledge of medical billing and health insurance claims
