Job summary

CSL Seqirus is hiring a Mechanical Technician/Fitter for our new state-of-the-art facility in Tullamarine, Melbourne. The role focuses on fault correction, preventative maintenance, and overhauls of manufacturing equipment for influenza vaccines and antivenoms.

Working a rotating 12-hour roster (6am-6pm and 6pm-6am) across day and night shifts, you will contribute to our 24/7 operations. Overtime, shift loadings, and allowances are paid per our EBA.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as Mechanical Fitter (Cert III or Cert IV).
• Pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience preferred.
• Fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• 3–5 years' relevant experience.
• Computer literacy – SAP or CMMS knowledge.
• Commitment to safety of yourself and your team.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, provides technical support for validation and maintenance of production equipment, utilities and systems.
• Monitors quality and system standards to ensure reliability and compliance with company standards and governmental regulatory requirements.
• Verifies calibration, maintenance and repair of the instruments.
• Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards.
• Assists with documentation for validation procedures and technical reports related to systems, products and/or processes.

Your Opportunity

CSL Seqirus is hiring for anMechanical Technician/Fitter at our new state of the art facility in Tullamarine, Melbourne. This world class 28,400 square metre facility includes clean-rooms, office and manufacturing space to support the production of influenza vaccines and critical antivenoms for Australia and other markets.

You will manage fault correction, preventative maintenance, and overhaul of manufacturing equipment.

Work a rotating 12-hour roster (6am-6pm and 6pm-6am), covering both day and night shifts to support our 24/7 operations.
