Job summary

ACCIONA is delivering Western Harbour Tunnel – Stage 2 in Sydney. The Mechanical Supervisor, Weekends (Friday - Monday) will lead TBM mechanical activities, coordinating maintenance crews and ensuring safety and quality across weekend operations.

You will diagnose faults, plan maintenance, and maintain handovers on rotating rosters, reporting to the project team and contributing to a high‑performing tunneling execution in a demanding environment.

The new Western Harbour Tunnel (WHT) will connect to WestConnex at the Rozelle Interchange, cross underneath Sydney Harbour between Birchgrove and Waverton, and connect with the Warringah Freeway near North Sydney.Project scope includes:Construction of approximately 4.8 kilometres of mainline tunnels with three lanes in each directionCivil, Mechanical and Electrical fitout of Stage 1 and Stage 2 tunnelsSurface level work, including on and off ramps and tie-in work to the Warringah FreewayAs the Mechanical Supervisor, Weekends (Friday - Monday) you will lead all TBM mechanical activities across weekend operations, maintenance and disassembly. The role coordinates TBM mechanics and maintenance crews for the weekend crews, sets work priorities and ensures compliance with OEM and project requirements.
