Job summary

UGL is seeking an experienced Project Team Leader (Mechanical) to coordinate and deliver mechanical projects on site in Pinjarra, WA. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will lead from tender through to fabrication, installation, construction and testing, ensuring safety, schedule, budget and quality targets are met.

Ideal candidates will hold a Mechanical Engineering degree with extensive experience in heavy industry and a proven leadership track record.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent industry qualification and experience.
• Strong leadership capability with experience guiding project teams and contractors.
• Excellent planning, commercial awareness and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, scheduling and delivery activities to ensure safe, efficient and successful project outcomes.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts and cost controls while identifying and mitigating delivery risks.
• Coordinate procurement, subcontractors and suppliers to support project execution requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to site teams, clients and project stakeholders.
• Drive quality, compliance and safety outcomes throughout all stages of project delivery.
