Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to support procurement and delivery of mechanical equipment for a six-month contract. The role requires 3–6 years of experience in procurement or project engineering and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities include end-to-end procurement, coordination with engineering and suppliers, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality processes. Experience with pumps, valves, and compressors is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3-6 years of procurement, package engineering, or project engineering experience in relevant sectors (oil & gas, mining, energy, or industrial).
• Experience managing mechanical equipment packages (pumps, valves, compressors, etc.).

• Review vendor documentation, technical queries, and bid evaluations.
• Monitor supplier progress and support expediting activities to meet project schedules.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality requirements, and procurement procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3-6 years of experience in procurement, package engineering, or project engineering within the oil & gas, mining, energy, or industrial sectors.
• Experience managing mechanical equipment packages such as pumps, valves, compressors, or similar process equipment.
• Strong stakeholder management and supplier coordination skills.
