This industry-leading organisation specialises in the manufacture and assembly of advanced cooling systems used in large-scale data centre environments. Due to continued growth and increasing demand, they are seeking an experienced Mechanical Plumbing Quality Assurance Lead to join their workshop operation.
Working within a manufacturing and assembly environment, you will take ownership of the quality assurance function across the assembly line for mechanical cooling systems. These systems are critical components within modern data centre infrastructure, including facilities supporting emerging AI technologies. Reporting to the Assembly Manager, you will provide quality oversight and technical support to assembly teams, ensuring products are built to specification, meet quality standards and maintain compliance requirements. While this is not a people management position with direct reports, you will provide QA leadership and guidance to a team of approximately 4-6 assembly personnel. The role is primarily inspection and quality-focused, with occasional hands-on involvement during peak production periods.
The standard working hours are 6:00am - 2:00pm Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute break. Overtime opportunities are regularly available.
