Job summary

AWX is seeking a Mechanical Fitter for a workshop role in Yatala. You will strip, inspect, service and rebuild machinery and components used in the oil and gas sector, including pumps, hydraulics and pneumatics.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter with hands-on servicing experience.
• Experience in repairs and rebuilds of mechanical components.
• Able to read drawings and work safely in a workshop.

Responsibilities

• Strip, inspect, service and rebuild machinery and components.
• Diagnose faults and repair pumps, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Carry out fitting and servicing work on transformers.
• Maintain high workmanship standards and workshop safety.
