Chandler Macleod is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering & Assets team in Kurri Kurri, NSW, delivering a diverse range of fixed plant projects across Australia. You will contribute from concept through to commissioning, in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified mechanical engineer with relevant project experience.
• Experience in fixed plant, manufacturing, mining or heavy industrial environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with and execute mechanical engineering design scopes across fixed plant projects.
• Support capital project delivery from concept to commissioning and handover.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments and safety studies.
• Ensure designs comply with engineering, statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and external providers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices.
• Provide technical support for existing plant and asset improvement projects.
