Job summary

Lucid Consulting Australia is seeking a Mechanical Engineer based in Melbourne to contribute to the growth of our Mechanical Services team. You will deliver high-quality building services design across sectors, lead design elements, and liaise with clients to shape innovative engineering outcomes for built environment projects.

Qualifications

• Holds a Mechanical Engineering degree recognised in Australia.
• Has a minimum of 3 years’ experience in building services (HVAC).
• Is proficient in CAD and Revit for design and documentation.
• Has a strong understanding of electrical, fire, and hydraulic disciplines.
• Demonstrates strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Enjoys experience, or an interest in developing skills in the health and/or defence sectors.
• Has experience engaging directly with clients and project stakeholders.
• Holds full working rights in Australia with no restrictions.
• Brings a progressive mindset with a willingness to improve how things are done.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed mechanical engineering design calculations and documentation.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal project stakeholders.
• Attend and contribute to project and site meetings with Project Team Leaders.
• Coordinate project requirements across disciplines.
• Support the delivery of high-quality HVAC and building services solutions.
• Represent Lucid at industry and networking events.
