Job summary

AWMA is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to work remotely across Australia. You will deliver engineered designs in line with project scope and deadlines, leveraging solid mechanical engineering fundamentals and SolidWorks capabilities.

In this role you will act as the technical authority within the Engineering and Design team, ensuring high standards of quality, functionality, and manufacturability. Occasional travel to head office in Cohuna, Victoria may be required.

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Remote

The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer works independently to deliverengineered designs in line with project scope and production deadlines.

With strong SolidWorks capability and a deep understanding of mechanical engineering first principles, this role ensures AWMA products are produced to a high standard of quality, functionality, and manufacturability.

This role supportsthe wider Engineering and Design team actingsometimesasthetechnical authorityfor the product.

This role requires occasional travel to head office,locatedin Cohuna, Victoria (approximately 3 hours north of Melbourne).
