Asset Conformity Testing Service (ACTS) is a Western Australian provider delivering engineering and asset inspection services across mining, oil and gas, and construction sectors. The role is FIFO, based in Perth and surrounding areas, with a hybrid remote work option from the Perth region.

The Mechanical Engineer will conduct inspections, prepare high‑quality reports, and ensure compliance with WA standards and safety regulations. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential.

Competenze

• Mechanical Engineering Degree and suitable experience in mechanical, asset integrity and structural areas.

Asset Conformity Testing Service (ACTS) is a Western Australian company providing a wide range of engineering and asset inspection services for mining and mineral processing, oil and gas, manufacturing, construction, rail and port sectors.

We offer comprehensive, innovative and practical asset reliability solutions, third-party inspection services and NDT services specifically tailored to our niche clientele to meet their reliability, safety and regulatory requirements.

About the Role

ACTS is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our growing Perth Engineering and Inspection Team to conduct Engineering inspections throughout Western Australia. You will ideally have experience in a similar role. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a young company and play an important role in our growth journey.

The role is FIFO (rostered or based on a particular job) and throughout Perth and surrounds and will be based out of our High Wycombe office on a Mon - Fri + overtime basis.

Role Accountabilities

• Perform engineering inspections, testing and audits using specialist inspection and testing equipment on registered plant (previously classified plant) and equipment.
• Produce high quality engineering reports tailored to client requirements.
• Use knowledge and skills, from qualifications and experience, to assess compliance in accordance with relevant WA legislation and Standards.
• Provide technical support and advice related to compliance matters to clients.
• Work with Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety and Worksafe on client’s registered plant assets.
• Applicants must possess the following:
• Mechanical Engineering Degree and suitable engineering experience in the fields of mechanical, asset integrity and structural areas.
• API510 or AICIP Pressure equipment inspection qualifications and relevant experience in the inspections space.
• Good understanding of all relevant Australian Standards applicable to the Plant Inspection role in Western Australia.Attention to detail, report writing skills, self-motivated to comply with client reporting timelines.Good written and verbal communication skills.
