Job summary

Norman Carriers (Aust) Pty Ltd in Laverton North VIC is seeking an experienced MC Truck Driver with Sideloader experience for the afternoon shift. You will operate MC heavy vehicles and a Hammer Sideloader to move freight around Victoria, with a focus on safety and on-time delivery.

Applicants must hold a Victorian Heavy Combination Truck licence and an MSIC with port access; Dangerous Goods and Forklift licences are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience operating MC heavy vehicles
• Experience with a Sideloader (Hammer preferable)
• Proven experience handling OOG, Multi-load, Skel, Tautliner and Flatbed loads
• Comprehensive understanding of Mass Management TMA and Load Restraint requirements
• Excellent communication and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Multi-Combination heavy vehicle.
• Operate a Hammar Sideloader as required.
• Secure freight with load restraints according to guidelines.
• Handle OOG freight with care and efficiency.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure safe operation.
• Deliver and pick-up freight as scheduled with high punctuality.
• Comply with company policies and transport laws and regulations.
