Team Global Express is seeking experienced MC Truck Drivers to join our freight operations in Gracemere, QLD. You will be responsible for safe, compliant transport of freight with a mix of linehaul and depot duties.

The role emphasizes safety and customer service, with responsibilities including pickups, deliveries, vehicle inspections, and accurate documentation. A current MC Licence and strong safety focus are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted MC Licence.
• Experience in linehaul, interstate, or general freight operations.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to use handheld scanning/delivery technology.
• Strong commitment to safety and safe driving practices.
• Reliability and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced parcel environment.

Responsibilities

• Completing pick-ups and deliveries in accordance with operational schedules and customer requirements.
• Safely operating a range of automatic and manual heavy vehicles.
• Conducting thorough pre-start and vehicle safety inspections.
• Ensuring freight is loaded, restrained, and transported in line with company and safety requirements.
• Correctly using load restraint equipment, including straps and chains where required.
• Following all company policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
• Reporting hazards, near misses, incidents, and safety concerns in a timely manner.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance requirements.
• Contributing to a positive team culture with a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
