Job summary

Qube is hiring experienced Multi-Skilled Operators for the Moranbah area. The MC Operator will operate heavy mining equipment, adhere to safety standards, and contribute to efficient mine-to-market logistics.

Offering Full-Time, DIDO/FIFO or local based roles with a 7-on/7-off roster, accommodation and meals provided. Career development and a strong Zero Harm culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Multi-Combination Licence is essential.
• Front End Loader ticket required.
• Must pass Coal Board Medical.
• Experience operating C-Triple Road Trains is preferred.
• Side-tipping experience is highly regarded.
• Minimum 3 years in mining with relevant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy mining vehicles as an MC Operator.
• Work a 7-on/7-off roster on site in Moranbah.
• Ensure safety and compliance with Zero Harm standards.
• Maintain equipment knowledge and maintain load restraint and fatigue management.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and collaborative team environment.

We currently have opportunities for experienced Multi-Skilled Operators to join the Qube team in the Moranbah area.

In order to be successful in the MC Operator role, it is essential that candidates have:

• Unrestricted Multi-Combination Licence
• Front End Loader ticket.
• Ability to pass a Coal Board Medical
• Prior & proficient operation of C-Triple Road Trains
• Prior side-tipping experience (highly regarded)

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in the mining industry and with relevant equipment

• Good mechanical aptitude
• A good knowledge of load restraint and fatigue management requirements
• Previous experience working in heavy transport & mining industry (high regarded)
• Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment, with a proactive approach to task resolution to maintain a high quality of work
• Have a commitment to Zero Harm

The following is preferable, but not essential and we will provide training for:

• Standard 11
• Side-tipping experience
