Job summary

The Midfield Group in Warrnambool, Victoria is seeking MC Milk Tanker Drivers to join our transport team. You will operate heavy vehicles with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service, with a rotating 5 on 3 off day/night roster.

Qualifications

• MC License required.
• Road ranger experience is required.
• Current Australian Driver’s License must be held.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in workshop and site-based maintenance.
• Excellent VicRoads 5-year driver history.
• Tanker experience preferred but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy vehicles with a strong focus on safety.
• Work independently without supervision.
• Meet client requirements and Midfield quality standards.
• Plan and complete work on schedule with a safe environment.
• Provide timely, professional responses to client requests.
• Submit accurate and punctual timesheets.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities for Midfield’s operations.
• Adhere to QA systems and complete documentation on time.
• Participate in meetings and contribute to team goals.
• Assume additional duties on-site or in workshops as required.
• Uphold Midfield’s professional image and conduct.

We are currently seeking MC Milk Tanker Drivers to join our transport team in Warrnambool, Victoria.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Demonstrated competence in operating heavy vehicles, with a strong focus on safety
• Proven ability to work independently without supervision
• Perform all tasks safely, efficiently, and accurately, in alignment with client requirements and Midfield’s scope of work and quality standards
• Plan, execute and complete work on schedule while maintaining a safe working environment
• Provide timely, professional and courteous responses to internal and external client requests
• Submit accurate and punctual timesheets
• Identify and suggest continuous improvement opportunities that add value to Midfield’s operations
• Adhere to QA systems and procedures, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and within deadlines
• Participate actively and contribute in relevant meetings
• Undertake additional duties or projects aligned with your skills and experience, both in workshops and on-site as required
• Uphold a professional image in accordance with Midfield’s standards at all times
• Consistently act in line with Midfield’s Values, Policies, Procedures and the Midfield Group Code of Conduct
• Be able to work a rotating roster pattern of 5 on 3 off Day shift, 5 on 3 off Nightshift

Skills & Experiences

• MC License
• Road ranger experience required
• Current Australian Driver’s License
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in workshop and site-based maintenance
• Excellent VicRoads 5-year driver history
• Tanker experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Must have the right to work in Australia

Salary Range: $90,000 - $150,000
