Job summary

Tait Freight is seeking two experienced MC drivers to join our team in Queensland. You’ll work across a mix of regional and long-distance routes with varied freight, including grain, cotton, machinery, and project loads.

Expect early starts, nights away, weekends when needed, and a straightforward, supportive workplace. We offer two full-time positions, paid under the Road Transport (Long Distance Operations) Award – Level 9, and potential earnings up to AUD 150,000 plus super.

Qualifications

• Current MC licence.
• Good traffic history.
• Previous heavy vehicle driving experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable work history.
• Solid understanding of fatigue, mass and general heavy vehicle compliance requirements.
• Willingness to work away when required.
• End tipper and/or cotton experience is an advantage, but not essential.
• Unrestricted Australian working rights.
• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
• Non-smoker preferred — our trucks are smoke-free.
