Sands Fridge Lines, a leading WA family‑owned cold storage and refrigerated transport operator, is seeking an experienced MC Driver to operate Triple Road Trains on Pilbara routes. The successful candidate will have an MC Licence, at least 1 year of Triple Road Train experience, and a Forklift Licence, with a focus on safety, reliability, and delivering exceptional

Qualifications

• Current MC Licence is required.
• Minimum 1 year Triple Road Train experience.
• Forklift Licence is required.
• Strong knowledge of Chain of Responsibility requirements.
• Commitment to fatigue management and safe driving practices.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate Triple Road Trains on Pilbara routes.
• Complete 3–4 day trips into the Pilbara region.
• Perform multi-drop deliveries to various sites.
• Load and unload refrigerated freight as needed.
• Hand unload when required.
• Deliver freight safely, professionally and on time.
• Complete required transport documentation.

The Opportunity

This is a permanent full-time position offering above-award rates and the opportunity to work with one of WA's most established refrigerated transport operators.

The role involves:

• Operating Triple Road Trains on Pilbara routes
• Completing 3–4-day trips into the Pilbara region
• Multi-drop deliveries to a variety of customer sites
• Loading and unloading refrigerated freight
• Hand unloading where required
• Ensuring freight is delivered safely, professionally, and on time
• Completing required compliance and transport documentation
• Maintaining high standards of customer service while representing Sands Fridge Lines

This is a physically active role suited to drivers who enjoy being hands-on and take pride in delivering exceptional service.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Current MC Licence
• Minimum 1 year of Triple Road Train experience
• Current Forklift Licence
• Strong knowledge of Chain of Responsibility requirements
• Commitment to fatigue management and safe driving practices
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules
• Experience in refrigerated or temperature-controlled transport is highly regarded, but not essential as full training can be provided
• Physical capability to assist with loading and unloading duties
