K&S Corporation, via its K&S Freighters subsidiary, is seeking an experienced MC Driver for ongoing work in Southeast Queensland, based in Caboolture. The role is an afternoon shift, typically starting between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM, with duties including loading, restraints, checks, and occasional intra-state deliveries.

You will operate on local roads with knowledge of Southeast Queensland geography, while supporting a hard-working driving team.

Competenze

• MC License and clean driving history required.
• Experience with B Doubles and local deliveries a plus.
• Desirable: walking floor trainers or willingness to learn.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced MC Driver for ongoing work transporting woodchips from our customer site in Caboolture.

This role is an afternoon shift and can commence anywhere from 1-4pm, depending on customer requirements.

You will be delivering woodchips to customers around Southeast Queensland and will use your existing knowledge of the local roads to complete your runs efficiently and safely.

Receive training and support to grow your skill set and knowledge, operating within a well-established and hard-working driving team.

You will:

• Apply appropriate load restraints to meet safety requirements
• Undertake pre-start vehicle checks
• Undertake a low level of manual duties
• Complete occasional Intra state deliveries when required
• Always work within load restraint guidelines & QLD Transport legislation
• Possess the flexibility to work either AM or PM shifts to support our operational requirements

What you’ll bring:

We're looking for an experienced MC Truck driver for afternoon shifts commencing between 1 and 4pm, depending on the requirements.

You will have:

• Valid MC License and a good driving history
• Previous experience operating and reversing B Doubles with local deliveries
• Experience with walking floor trainers would be highly desirable (or willing to learn)
• Exposure to HML loading and transportation requirements an advantageKnowledge of Southeast Queensland roads and geography.
