DGL Group is seeking an experienced MC truck driver for dangerous goods delivery based in Rocklea, Queensland. The role involves daily road transport, loading/unloading, and rigorous adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.

You will perform pre/post trip checks, document delivery activities, and maintain vehicle standards while delivering reliable service to our customers. The position requires a current MC license and a minimum of two years’ MC driving experience.

Qualifikationen

• Current MC license.
• Minimum of two years’ MC driving experience.
• Understanding and awareness of COR, NHVAS, and fatigue management.
• Strong customer and safety focus.
• Skilled in writing documentation with attention to detail.
• Great work ethic and self-motivated.
• Proven reliability.
• Awareness of relevant workplace health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work overtime when required.
• Ability to use a smart device.
• Ability to comply with Company policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.

Aufgaben

• Loading and unloading goods in compliance with axle weights, load restraint regulations, and Company requirements.
• Delivering goods to customers in various locations.
• Undertake pre and post trip vehicle inspections, and report any faults, issues, or maintenance that may be required.
• Driving and operating vehicles in a safe and courteous manner, observing all applicable road rules and Company policies/procedures.
• Ensuring loads are secure and the vehicle is kept in a clean and tidy condition.
• Complying with chain of responsibility requirements.
• Completing required transport and delivery documentation accurately, and in a timely way.
• Ensure all company equipment remains secure, clean and well kept at all times.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including fatigue management and workplace health and safety.
• Comply with transport legislative requirements at all times (driving hours limits, required breaks, shift work etc).
• Reporting any required vehicle maintenance.
