Job summary

Sunshine Coast Mazda in Maroochydore is seeking a skilled Motor Mechanic to diagnose, repair and maintain Mazda vehicles. You will work in a busy workshop alongside service advisors and parts staff, delivering high-quality service to customers.

The ideal candidate has a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology and at least three years’ post-trade experience, with a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness and customer communication. A commitment to ongoing Mazda training is expected.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years’ post-trade experience in an automotive workshop.
• Experience diagnosing faults in engines and electrical systems is preferred.
• Strong organisational, time management, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain Mazda vehicles to Mazda standards.
• Collaborate with service advisors, parts staff and technicians to ensure quality workmanship.
• Document service and repair work accurately and communicate results to customers.
• Stay updated with Mazda technologies and training programs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised workshop environment.
