Job summary

Kingsley College in Rockhampton is seeking a Permanent Full-Time Maths Teacher from Term 1, 2027 to join a faith-driven, collaborative team. You will teach Year 7 and 8 mathematics, in class and through distance education, building rapport with students.

You may lead extra-curricular activities and have a Homeroom for pastoral care. Applicants with a Bachelor of Education and Qld Teacher Registration are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or equivalent.
• Queensland Teacher's Registration or ability to obtain.
• Primary and Secondary Trained Teachers welcome to apply.
• High-level communication skills with staff, students and families.

Responsibilities

• Teach mathematics to Year 7 and 8 in classroom and via distance education.
• Lead or assist with extra-curricular activities as needed.
• Homeroom class duties for pastoral care (15 minutes each morning).
• Uphold the school's Christian values and foster positive educational outcomes.
