St Peters Lutheran College is seeking a dedicated Mathematics Teacher for the Secondary Years, based in Indooroopilly, Brisbane. The role is a full-time Term 1 2027 contract with primary responsibility for Senior General Mathematics, and the option to teach Mathematical Methods.

You will join a professional and collaborative team delivering engaging learning and supporting student wellbeing, in a college renowned for Christian co-education.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Education with teaching subject qualifications in Mathematics.
• Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) Registration.
• Experience teaching secondary Mathematics, particularly Senior General Mathematics.
• Strong understanding of curriculum, assessment and reporting in a secondary school.
• Strong classroom management, organisational and time management skills.
• Commitment to the College's Christian ethos and values.

St Peters Lutheran College – Indooroopilly QLD

St Peters Lutheran College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Mathematics Teacher to join our Secondary Years team for a full time, maximum contract during Term 1 2027.

This role will primarily teach Senior General Mathematics, with the ability to teach Mathematical Methods considered desirable.

As part of a professional and collaborative teaching team, you will deliver engaging and well-planned learning experiences that support student achievement, foster a positive learning environment, and contribute to the broader academic and pastoral life of the College. The successful candidate will actively support student wellbeing, participate in co‑curricular activities, and uphold the College's commitment to excellence in Christian co‑education.
