Job summary

The King's School in North Parramatta is seeking a passionate Mathematics Teacher to join the Senior School's Mathematics Department. You will contribute to a large, experienced and supportive team that values innovative pedagogy and high academic standards.

The role begins Term 1 2027 on a permanent full-time basis. Experience with NSW Curriculum and Extension 2 is desirable, and knowledge of the IB DP is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to inspire excellence in teaching through innovative pedagogy.
• High standard of competency and innovation as a classroom teacher.
• Strong organisation and positive, enthusiastic attitude toward learning.
• Deep understanding of the NSW Curriculum framework and updates.
• Excellent communication with peers, students and stakeholders.
• Experience teaching NESA courses; Extension 2 Mathematics desirable.
• IBDP knowledge is an advantage but not essential.
• Personable approach and positive contribution to co-curricular initiatives.
• Team player with effective liaison across colleagues, parents and students.

Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics across senior years in alignment with the NSW syllabus.
• Incorporate innovative pedagogy and intellectual inquiry in lessons.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum and assess student progress.
• Contribute to co-curricular activities and school-wide initiatives.
