Como Secondary College is seeking Mathematics Teachers for permanent and fixed-term, full-time and part-time positions to start in the 2027 school year. Applicants should have rigorous subject knowledge and the ability to deliver the Western Australian Curriculum in an engaging manner.

Experience teaching Senior School courses is advantageous. We emphasise student-centred learning, restorative practices, and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging mathematics lessons to middle and senior school students.
• Deliver content confidently across the West Australian Curriculum and Senior School courses if needed.
• Demonstrate effective classroom management and restorative practices.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop teaching strategies, resources and approaches to maximise student potential.
• Engage students with a growth mindset and participate in the school’s Instructional Model and Coaching program.
• Contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment and support equity and diversity.
