Job summary

Symmetry Human Resources is seeking an experienced Materials Handler / Forklift Operator for a busy Melbourne-based manufacturing operation in Lilydale.

Working on a weekly rotating roster across Day, Afternoon and Night shifts, you will move raw materials, feed production lines, and dispatch finished goods using electric and counterbalance forklifts, scanners and warehouse systems.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence and practical experience.
• Electric and counterbalance forklift experience.
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
• SAP experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Operate electric and counterbalance forklifts.

Join a global industry leader based in Melbournes Outer Eastern Suburbs as a Materials Handler / Forklift Operator.

We are seeking experienced forklift operators to support a busy manufacturing operation based in Lilydale, moving raw materials into production and finished goods through to dispatch.

Key duties:

• Operate electric and counterbalance forklifts
• Feed raw materials to production lines
• Move and collect finished goods for dispatch
• Use scanners and warehouse systems
• Maintain accurate stock movements
• Follow all safety and site procedures

About you:

• Current forklift licence and practical experience
• Electric and counterbalance forklift experience
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
• SAP experience highly regarded
• Comfortable working rotating shifts
