Job summary

Programmed Maintenance Services in Clayton, VIC, is seeking an experienced Material Handler and High Reach Forklift Operator for an afternoon shift. You will operate a High Reach forklift, manage pallets, and ensure accurate SAP data entry.

The role offers a path from casual to permanent with on-site parking and dedicated training and development opportunities. Experience in food manufacturing is valued but not essential, with a strong safety culture and teamwork emphasis.

Qualifications

• Current and valid forklift licence.
• Previous high reach forklift experience.
• Confidence operating forklifts in narrow aisle environments.
• Experience using SAP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Food manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate a High Reach Forklift to rack and unrack pallets of raw materials.
• Transport materials to and from production areas.
• Remove and relocate empty pallets from production area.
• Prepare finished goods for dispatch, including wrapping and palletising.
• Accurately date, label and process materials in SAP.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

Material Handler / High Reach Forklift Operator Clayton, VIC Afternoon Shift | Temp to Perm Opportunity

Are you an experienced High Reach Forklift Operator looking for a long-term opportunity with a well-established food manufacturing company?

Our client is one of Australia's leading manufacturers of spices and sauces. With over 130 years of industry success, they have built a strong reputation for quality and innovation.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Material Handler to join their Clayton-based team on afternoon shift with High Reach experience and SAP knowledge is a must.

What's on Offer?

• Opportunity to transition from casual to permanent employment
• Afternoon shift: 4:00 PM - 1:30 AM
• Located in Clayton, South Eastern Suburbs

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a High Reach Forklift to rack and un-rack pallets of raw materials
• Transporting materials to and from production areas
• Removing and relocating empty pallets from production area
• Preparing finished goods for dispatch, including wrapping and palletising
• Accurately dating, labelling, and processing materials using SAP
• Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current and valid Forklift Licence
• Previous High Reach Forklift experience
• Confidence operating forklifts in narrow aisle environments
• Experience using SAP systems
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Previous food manufacturing experience (highly regarded but not essential)
