Job summary

Randstad is recruiting for a hands-on production role in a defensive manufacturing environment in Sydney. The position offers a standard day shift from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with competitive pay of $41.41 per hour plus super and overtime opportunities.

You will prepare materials, operate machinery, and maintain accurate batch records in a high-tech workshop. A mechanical trade certificate or strong workshop background is required, with emphasis on safety and precise documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating machinery in a workshop or production setting.
• Experience handling chemicals safely and following strict batch records.
• Ability to lift up to 15kg and perform manual handling with care.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and prepare raw materials with precision per formulas.
• Operate programmed control panels and load materials into ball mills.
• Load and unload trays into industrial heating ovens with care.
• Perform manual lifting of production trays up to 15kg.
• Maintain clear batch records and logs for quality compliance.
• Follow safety guidelines and handle chemicals per protocols.
