We are seeking a qualified and experienced Massage Therapist to join our Body Haven Massage team at Castletown Shopping Centre Townsville. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality Massage therapeutic treatments to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Personalizing treatment methods based on client consultations.
• Offering therapeutic massage and delivering body treatments to promote relaxation and enhance overall well‑being.
• Utilizing a range of massage techniques, including deep tissue Chinese (Tui‑Na) Massage and Remedial Massage, to target muscles and tendons, aid in healing, improve sports performance, and prevent injuries.
• Assisting in the recovery process using herbal oils, ice, hot stones, and other techniques.
• Maintaining accurate client records and treatment notes.
• Ensuring a high level of hygiene and safety is maintained in the treatment room.

Requirements

• Diploma in Remedial Massage and registration with relevant Australian massage associations (essential for private health insurance).
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience as a massage therapist (Australian experience accepted).
• Flexibility to work during weekends and public holiday periods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
