Job description

City Cave Float and Wellness Centre – Margate QLD

Massage Therapist

City Cave Redcliffe & North Lakes

City Cave Redcliffe is looking for an experienced Massage Therapist to work with us on a contract basis, primarily from our City Cave Redcliffe centre, with the opportunity to also work from City Cave North Lakes if you're looking for additional availability.

If you love massage, connect easily with people and take pride in giving every guest a genuinely great experience, we'd love to hear from you.

The opportunity

You’ll be working from an established wellness centre with an existing guest base, beautiful treatment rooms and a friendly, experienced team taking care of the wider guest experience.

Our guests come to us for all sorts of reasons. Some need help with tight, tired bodies. Some are recovering from training or a busy week. Others simply need an hour to completely switch off.

That’s why we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all massage.

We’re looking for a therapist who listens, understands what their guest needs and can tailor each treatment accordingly.

Depending on your qualifications and experience, treatments may include:

• Relaxation massage

• Deep tissue massage

• Remedial massage

• Other massage modalities within your qualifications and experience

What we’re looking for

You’ll need a recognised massage qualification and the appropriate professional insurance.

We’d particularly love to hear from therapists who are:

• Confident and experienced in relaxation and deep tissue massage

• Remedial qualified – highly regarded, but not essential

• Warm, professional and comfortable communicating with guests

• Reliable and organised

• Committed to providing a consistently high standard of massage

• Genuinely passionate about helping people feel better

Experience matters, but so does the person behind the qualification.

We’re looking for someone who cares about the quality of their work, takes pride in the experience they provide and genuinely enjoys working with people.

Why City Cave?

One of the challenges of working independently as a Massage Therapist can be finding clients while also managing everything else that comes with running your own practice.

At City Cave, you’ll be working from an established centre with guests already coming through the doors, treatment rooms ready to go and a team managing the broader guest journey around you.

That means you can spend more of your time doing what you’re actually great at – massage.

You’ll enjoy:

• Flexibility around your availability

• An established and growing guest base

• Beautiful, purpose-built treatment rooms

• A calm, professional wellness environment

• A friendly and supportive centre team

• The opportunity for regular bookings

• The option to work across Redcliffe and North Lakes

• The opportunity to offer additional massage modalities where appropriately qualified

A little about us

City Cave brings together Massage, Float Therapy and Infrared Sauna to help people relax, recover and feel better.

We’ve been part of the City Cave network for seven years, and our Redcliffe and North Lakes centres have built wonderful communities of regular and new guests.

We care about the little things – how people are welcomed, how they’re treated and how they feel when they walk back out the door.

We’re professional, but we’re also human. We want to work with therapists who care about their guests, take pride in what they do and enjoy being around good people.

Sound like you?

We’d genuinely love to hear from you.

Primary location: City Cave Redcliffe
